Your Personal Choice Menu

A "Personal Choice Menu" is a list that you create of your "yes" foods. "Yes" foods are choices that are good for your plan right now. Choose off of it like a menu. It will evolve and change over time, so, use a pencil to fill in the template.

Begin to incorporate the “Personal Choice Menu” concept into your daily habit. It's your very own personal menu. It works in conjunction with your food journal as your bring-a-long, portable list of "Yes" foods to refer to wherever you may be at any given time when you are ready to have a meal or snack.

It’s good to have even in the grocery store as a grocery list of sorts. This is really important when you are busy and need to eat or grocery shop on the run.

A “Yes" foods list keeps you from eating or perhaps buying too many foods that may not be the best choices right now. This gives you a “menu” to choose from that allows a little planning ahead so there is not so much high calorie impulse eating.

It takes about three copies to get the hang of it and personalized with all your favorites. As you advance you will change your choices as you discover other better choices that help you stay on track and reach your goal.
